Patrick Borovitz was a husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend to many. He loved life and his passion was his motorcycle. In June 2016, he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He struggled through his treatments and side effects, all the while trying to build his strength to get back to work and support his family.
He was blessed with remission in December 2016 and was able to return to work. In November 2017, after a bout with flu and pneumonia, his cancer recurred. Through very harsh chemo treatments and multiple hospitalizations, he battled many health challenges. He continued to touch many with his humor, laughter, and love. All the while keeping a positive outlook to get through it.
Late in March 2018, his family was devastated to learn his cancer had spread to his brain. He fought until the end, where he passed away peacefully in hospice care, with his family at the bedside, on April 2, 2018.
