We are TMK Events ! We are currently raising money for the cystic fibrosis trust as part of our university qualification, we chose cystic fibrosis trust as a member of TMK Events has a very close family connection with Cystic Fibrosis!
What is Cystic Fibrosis ?
Cystic Fibrosis is a progressive, genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time. It can causes thick mucus that clogs certain organs, such as the lungs, pancreas, and intestines. This may cause malnutrition, poor growth, frequent respiratory infections, breathing problems, and chronic lung disease. There is no way to cure this disease but the Cystic Fibrosis Trust are doing everything they can to research ways of helping people who suffer with this disease to live a happy and comfortable life!
The Cystic fibrosis trust are the people who are researching ways to make a life with Cystic fibrosis easier and last longer, because unfortunately it is likely that a sufferer will not make it to their 40th birthday !!
As an Event team we are also holding an event in aid of the charity, it is 'A Night at the Races' this will now be an online event due to covid-19. if you would prefer to just donate to this page rather that attending the event that is amazing, this also works the other way around, if you would rather attend the event than just donating here that would also be amazing !!
