James Lester Grantham "Les" was born on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 8:45 pm at Rush Hospital in Meridian, MS to the parents of James and Heather Grantham of Quitman,MS. Baby Les weighed 3lbs 2 oz and 15 inches long. He was airlifted to Blair E. Batson Hospital in Jackson, MS shortly after entering the world where he remains in the NICU for medical complications. He was born 8 weeks premature and has been diagnosed with Spina Bifida. He is a little fighter. He is already off of the vent and breathing on his own. Baby Les and his parents have a long road ahead of them. Les is scheduled to have his first surgery on Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Please keep the parents in your thoughts and prayers as they deal with this situation. We appreciate any donation whether it be $1 or $1,000.
