Hi everyone.
I am starting this GoFundMe for my nephew Kyle, my sister Patricia May, and Shawn Richardson to help with any expenses they come across. We truly appreciate everyones prayers and generosity. I will keep this page updated as we take this journey day by day.
‼️UPDATE ‼️
(11/25/2020)We just got the results from PET scan. It confirmed stage 4 and he also has bulky disease. Bulky disease is where the mass in his chest is over 1/3 of the size of his chest. This confirms we have to do 5 rounds of chemo. The PET scan also did show spots in his lungs. Because he does have bulky disease he will have to have radiation. Radiation will start at the end of chemo. This will be for 5 to 6 wks. He will be given daily doses mon - fri everyday in Lubbock. We tried to see if it could be done in clovis but they don’t do pediatrics.
The bone marrow aspiration came back negative! Praise God!
We were discharged!!! Kyle wanted ice cream and then home!!! We have to be back Friday for outpatient chemo, Monday for another echocardiogram, Wednesday for bloodwork but finally he will be able to sleep in his own bed!!!! Feel the sun on his face ☀️
(11/23)I know we have been a little quiet the last couple days. Kyle started chemo Friday night. Last night he finished day 3 thru his picc line. This weekend he has been exhausted and struggling on and off with nausea.
Along with previous prayer requests we are asking for additional prayers to send a battlefield of angels to protect his mind. Since chemo kicked in he really hasnt spoken much. At one point I could tell he was struggling and I asked him what he was thinking. He whispered God will bring me thru it. I know now more than ever prayers for his mind are so important because the enemy will try to attack at any angle possible! In the name of Jesus we rebuke any lies the devil tries to throw his way!!!!
Thank you all so much for every share, comment, message, text, call, prayers, support. I know we keep saying it but me and Shawn have just been extremely humbled and touched more than words can ever express by everyones love, thoughtfulness and generosity.
(11/20)Kyle will receive his first chemo treatment tonight. Prayers he gets through this first treatment with as little pain and discomfort as possible. He also had a bone marrow aspiration and pet scan done today but we will not know results till next week.
(11/19)The oncologist was able to get his results today. He has Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She believes it is stage 4 but will know more with the PET scan tomorrow. She said multiple times it is highly treatable. He starts chemo treatments tomorrow.
The battle begins. We know God will heal him!!!!! Kyle WILL be HEALED in the name of JESUS!!!!

"Kyle found a lump under his left armpit. Then we noticed swelling and bruising on his left side. On Monday (11/16) the Clovis ER has sent us to Lubbock. He is still admitted here in Lubbock.
Long story short the oncologist here feels he is checking every box for lymphoma. We are praying against that and that it is an infection of some sort that can be healed with an antibiotic. They did a biopsy and we are still waiting for results to start treatment asap. Lymphoma has an extremely high curable rate, but theres still a long walk to get there.
We have had so many people reach out to us and I know there are lots of people praying for him right now. We are so thankful and appreciate every single person that has taken the time to pray for him and for us.
Please if you could take a moment even if its just in this moment to say a prayer of healing for Kyle. We know our God is greater than any sickness and He is a miracle worker and has BIG plans for Kyle which includes a LONG, HEALTHY life
Kyle has been so strong and amazing through this whole process. He has so much faith and trust in God. His vitals are strong and he still smiles strong!"
