Neighbors helping neighbors

For anyone curious who has posted on Facebook about the accident and or the little boys backpack leaned up on a totaled car

Yes she is an empolyee at our store. Yes she was heading to work but first she was planning to drop off her son Thomas at school as she does every morning.

Accidents happen everyday and of course we never plan on them and neither was she when she left her house this morning.

She is a single Mom who lives and breathes for her son. She is a good person, who makes me laugh daily with her singing and silly antics that help pass our shifts at the store and makes the days go by easier and faster. She is a friend!

All of us have been worried and thinking of her and Thomas all day. She will be out of work for awhile and needs any help anyone can give. If you can not donate please share this post so maybe someone else will. If you don't like using your debt or credit cards online we have set up a donation can at the store (Dollar General in Sullivan) and I believe Hanock grocery is planning to do the same. Every little bit will help. Please help us out in trying to make something positive come out of a horrible situation.
