Jack's Cancer Crusade

Who am I?  I am Jen, the former-wife of Jack.  We have two daughters (11 and 14 years-old).  We say we found a way to honor our vows despite not being married.  My stand is one of commitment; to Jack; to our children; regardless of marital status.  My children are half him and he is a vital part of our lives.

Jack, is 41 years-old.  Two weeks ago, he was diagnosed with advanced colorectal cancer which has spread to his bladder and other organs.  The road ahead is a challenging path. 

For anyone who has experienced cancer (personally or with someone close), you are aware that there are many costs that are not covered by insurance.  He is now hospitalized for the second time in as many weeks as a result of infection.  The costs continue to mount. 

We are taking on his cancer together and this is one of many efforts I see to take. 

There are many items/services needed - professional carpet cleaners and a house cleaning crew to help me get his house disinfected and sanitized, for starters.
