Eric Conn Family House Fire

My name is Colin DeMarlie. I work for a company out of Champaign, IL that does contract work all over the country. On 12/16/14, a little over a week before Christmas my co worker Eric Conn's house caught fire and is a 100% loss. Our job has us be on the road anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months at a time. Eric was working in Chicago when his house caught fire and was not due to be back home until 12/23. His wife was traveling with him to spend some time with him as she is always home alone when he is traveling.
Eric is 24 years old and his wife is 27 years old. They have only been married a few short years and just started to really build thier life together.

Eric and his wife lost animals in the fire as well as all his personal belongings. Eric did not have Insurance on his house so everything will need be replaced at his cost.

Because our job has us working on the road and away from home so much, nothing makes you feel better then going home and sleeping in your own bed and taking a shower that isnt in a hotel. Eric and his wife no longer have this.

Eric is a rockstar employee and has huge attention to detail. He is kind and willing to do anything for anyone. He works extremely long hours away from home just to give his wife the life she deserves and to help pay for her schooling.
