medical fund for Cervical cancer
Donation protected
Well, how the heck do you tell people you have a diagnosis of cervical cancer and need help? No one likes to admit that they can not do it on their own. But here I am.
This is my story, I am 44 and was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer. I am waiting to find out what stage I have. I am waiting to set a date with an oncologist to see how all of this is going to progress but it looks like at the very least a radical hystorectomy with lymph node dissection. The estimated recovery time on this procedure is 8 weeks. I am currently employed and do have health insurance but both situations are fluid at the moment. My employment does not offer any benefits what so ever. My wish is to not have to go on the "dole" during this recovery period. The money donated would go toward possible rent and taking care of myself and my pets during this time ( food for all of us, medications not covered by my insurance, paying for extra help if i need it. ) I will not know what stage of cancer i have until after this procedure, they say it takes up to four weeks to find out. My hope and intention is that it is exactly where they saw it, my cervix and no where else.
I have always lived life to it's fullest and intend to keep on doing so. I wake up every morning saying cancer sucks and I do not feel like a person who has cancer and i will not allow myself to feel that way ever. A bit of a bump in the road on this path i call my life.
Any donation over 20 dollars gets you a 5x7 photograph personally signed by me from my photography page on facebook and donation over 30 gets you an 8x10. There are many stunning photographs to choose from and as you give to me so i would like to give something in return. Please take a look at Michelle LaFromboise Photography on facebook to make your selection. https://www.facebook.com/michellelafromboisephotography click on the link and make a choice ! I for one will be kicking it in the butt on a a daily basis.
