Help Save Fly

My amazing horse Fly has sadly broken his leg. I have made the informed decision to try and save his life. This horse gave me strength and is the reason I am now the program director of a therapeutic riding program.
Fly started his career on the racetrack and raced for 7 years. Once retired, he began his second career as a 3-day event horse. He has been very successful and even in the top three on multiple occasions. With his amazing drive to please and his courage, we even qualified and competed at the national championships two years in a row.
As I began my career teaching students with disabilities to ride horses, I quickly found that Fly wanted to be involved as well. Fly has touched many lives during his third and final career. He is a part of the New Mexico Center for Therapeutic Riding herd and loves his job. Fly loves all his students and does not judge any of them for their disabilities, but he is willing to be a team player and allow his students abilities to shine. His warm heart and will to want to change lives makes him very valuable to all of us.
Fly will be in an expensive, intensive recovery for the next 8 weeks. I am asking for help with all his financial needs. This unfortunate accident has required multiple x-rays with more to come, special feed, special accommodations to his stall, multiple medications, additional supplements, many vet visits, and extra expenses for his overall care. I hardly ask for help, but this is not about me, this is for Fly. Please help me save my best friend and the most amazing horse that strives to help change the lives of individuals with disabilities.
