Please help this pup

Hi everybody, I am trying to help my friend Beth.
This is her story: "On my way to visit the horses I saw a family on the side of the road crouched over a dog. The dog was not moving and it looked like he was hit by a car so I stopped to see what happened. The poor family was trying to move the dog to the side of the road and it looked like they really didn't want to see the dog suffer. So I took their information, and promised to take the dog to the vet and update them on what happens. I ended up having to take him to the emergency vet on Sunday. The vet said that he had a broken hip and that he needed to have surgery as soon as possible or he would not make it. The cost for the surgery was $1,800. I called the owners of the dog and they said that they did not have that kind of money to waste and they told me to tell the vet to put the dog down! I could not believe that this family would let a member of their own family die like that! Well, I decided to take matters into my own hands and take care of him and not let this monster family take his life!!! "

Beth will try to negotiate the price of his surgery, but just for today's visit, her bill was over $800!!!

Please help me help Beth take care of this precious dog and find him a new loving family. All I am asking for is just a little help to pay for his bills!
