Wills’ Warriors – his family and friends are working hard to help Will battle his cancer. Please become one of Will’s Warriors by donating to help him and his family pay for his medical treatments and associated expenses.
This is Will! Will is 9 and is diagnosed with synovial sarcoma. His diagnosis does not define him. Will has a strong spirit and loves to be around people, play baseball, and play with his friends. He is currently waiting for his surgery wound to heal and once healed, he will begin radiation treatments.
Will has a single mom and two siblings. Once he begins his treatment, he will be traveling 180 miles roundtrip, every day for approximately 6 weeks. As a result, there will be many up-front costs for travel, food, occasional lodging, babysitting for his siblings, and regular maintenance for his mom’s vehicle, which will be difficult to pay for. You can help Will and his family cover these costs with your donations.

Below is a timeline to help you become familiar with Will's journey:
On September 3, 2014 Will underwent surgery to remove a cyst from his elbow joint.
On September 12, 2014, Will was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma. This diagnosis lead to appointments with oncologists, surgeons, and a radiation specialist.
October 24, 2014, Will underwent a second surgery at the KU sarcoma center to abraid the tissue. The lab results came back with the results that there were still synovial cells present.
Will is undergoing physical therapy on his arm to improve his range of movement. The next step is six (6) weeks of radiation and MRI’s to make sure that the cancer is not spreading.
