Hola Amigos,
Debido al Huracan Harvey que afecto Houston, Texas; mis amigos Ivonne y Jose tuvieron la peor experiencia de sus vidas. Perdieron todas sus pertenencias, casa, carros, ropa, etc. debido a la inundacion. En la tarde del Domingo, Agosto 27 del 2017, tuvieron que abandonar su casa con sus tres hijos y la abuela materna. Nadaron por mas de una milla (1.6 Km) hasta que lograron ser rescatados por un bote. Quisiera que de alguna manera los ayudaramos para que comiencen de nuevo sus vidas . Les agradezco de corazon cualquier ayuda. Juntos podemos hacer la diferencia para esta familia.

Our friends Ivonne and Jose lost everything during hurricane Harvey. They lost their house, cars, clothes and all belongings. On Sunday, August 27th they left their house with their three children and grandmother. They swam for a mile until they were rescued by a boat. We have organized this fundraising to help them to start their lives again. We really appreciate your help and support on this great cause.

I am Lulieth Cardona-Mejia (Lula), I met Ivonne and her family in 2005 thru one of my best friends, since then we have been very close and good friends.
Where am I from?
I am from Colombia, same as Ivonne. I came to USA in 1999, and I have been living in Houston, Texas since 2000
How will these funds be spent?
The disbursement of funds will be at the sole discretion of the family. The only person designated to make withdrawals from this fundraiser is Ivonne Busby.
How do I plan to get the funds to the beneficiaries?
Ivonne Busby is the named designee and will be responsible for distributing all funds received as per her convenience.
