Ivonne Felix's Memorial Fund

On the morning of Friday July 21st, 2017, Ivonne, as on most days, was riding her motorcycle to work. She was hit by a truck and pronounced dead at the scene. Her tragic death has been a brutal blow to her family and friends and has left those close to her in absolute shock as they try to process and grief her loss. Ivonne lived her life to the fullest, down to the very last second she was with us. She was always happy and had a vibrant attitude. She lived her life as she wanted and her stubborn yet determined mindset allowed her to overcome life's difficult challenges. Her life and work ethic was incomparable and allowed her to attain the goals that she set for herself. Ivonne was a caring mother, loving wife, amazing sister, dependable co-worker, and a loyal friend. She had a deep passion for life and was unconditionally dedicated to her family, her dogs, and career. She loved to explore the outdoors and ride her Harley.


Anyone who was lucky to know Ivonne knows that she was a very reliable, hard-working, responsible person. With what little she had, she never hesitated to help anyone in any way and with whatever she could. She welcomed everyone with her big, bright smile and the biggest hug anyone could ask for. She was simply put, larger than life. Ivonne was at the height of her happiness when she was taken from us. Her spirit and memory will carry on in all of us and she will be dearly missed but never forgotten.


Unfortunately, her sudden death has left her husband and son with an overwhelming financial burden. The funds that are raised will be used to cover her memorial service, end-of-life costs, and alleviate some of the incoming financial obligations while they can gather the strength and get back on their feet. This is a reminder that we must always be careful and vigilant when driving. Always share the road, look twice, and avoid driving recklessly. A wrong driving decision can cause an accident and change lives forever at any moment.
