Ivan "Clinton" Barnes, 60, passed away Monday, July 3, 2017. He was born February 6, 1957 in Nash County to the late Willard “Bill” and Lula Mae Langley Barnes. Clinton loved his family, fishing, racing and 18 wheelers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his mother & father-in-law, Anne and Joe Medlin; and nephew, Jeffrey Basinger.
He leaves to cherish his memory , his loving wife of 37 years, Teresa Medlin Barnes; one daughter, Emily Bass and husband Billy; two brothers, William Barnes , Quentin Barnes and wife Tammy; sister-in-law, JoAnne Basinger and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Natalie and Bella Thompson; nieces, Jessica Basinger, Janet Campbell, and Marilyn Hidalgo; nephews, Spencer Basinger and Ira Barnes.
