IU Women's Rugby Nationals

The Indiana University Women's Rugby team qualified for the USA Rugby Fall D1 Championships after a successful fall season finishing with a 7-1 record. The lone loss was to 9-time National Champions Penn State University.

Finishing 2nd in the Big 10, IU was sent to the West Regional to face Iowa State in the first round of playoffs. Redstorm soundly defeated Iowa State 34-0 and advanced to the Elite 8 for the first time in club history. The Elite 8 game against UNI was won in the last seconds of overtime advancing IU to the Final Four tournament in Palm Coast, Florida December 6-7th! IU will be facing Norwich on Saturday December 6th.

While IU Rec Sports is able to provide us with a field, maitenance, game day atheltic trainers, and some funds, the club is still responsible for all travel expenses and other costs. Please help us to achieve our fundraising goals as we prepare to win in Florida!
