Help Kasie kick Cancer Fund

"They say God doesn't give you anything you can't handle and I'm at a complete loss. I don't know what to say or how to feel other than completely terrified. Its going to get out eventually so here it is and there is nothing like the feeling of loving supportive family and friends. If my story can help save another then here goes. I found a lump the day before Thanksgiving after a weird pain in my chest. I transferred to Sutter where my sisters go and my baby sis is in charge of the Cancer Center at Memorial Modesto. Ultrasound showed a benign cyst and I was told go home and relax you are fine. My stomach was sick and it has never been wrong to date. I had a fit and demanded a mammogram. Was told that was fine too. I want a biopsy. I will not rest until I have one. Ultrasounds and mammograms are like looking at a pic of a grenade. Is it real or a fake? Had a 3 hr biopsy yesterday where they found 2 more masses that the ultrasound and mammogram last Friday didn't show. My sister called me today to tell me hers came back. An hour later I get a call while on shift. I have breast cancer. Nate thank you for being there and helping me hold it together on duty and I'm sorry I sobbed so hard I made you cry too. I will never understand why bad things happen to good people? Please to all my friends go get checked. I am 34. Early detection is the best cure. I joked I should have been a boy in my first life because a penis wouldn't give me as many problems. I will not dance with the Devil. Scars are beautiful if they mean to save your life. I'm going to have these babies cut off and get fake ones because the real ones are going to try and kill me. See the Cancer Surgeon Monday. I'm strong as hell because I have to be. I have a little boy who needs me so tomorrow I will wipe my tears away, smile again and do what I do best which is taking care of others. Lots of love to you all. Please keep me in your prayers.
