ITAA Benevolent Fund Camino Walk for Mayah

Ok so where do I start! Last August my beautiful grand-daughter Mayah suffered a right sided stroke which affected her left side of her body, a day that changed all of our lives forever!, I was away on a work trip when this happened and my colleagues at work and my colleagues in the Travel trade got into action to get me home ASAP and organising for me to be picked up at Dublin airport and brought to Crumlin….I am walking the Camino to raise funds for the ITAA Benevolent fund who helped my daughter Kayleigh during our nightmare.
The ITAA Benevolent fund was set up to help and support travel agents when they need it most through financial aid in the event they are unable to work.
Kayleigh has dedicated her every waking minute to our beautiful Mayah which means she cannot work for the foreseeable future as she has become Mayah full time care. The ITAA fund had allowed her to continue to look after her daughter while they spent over 2 months in Crumlin without having to worry about the bills being paid thanks to this amazing organisation.
With both myself and Kayleigh working in the travel industry the support from my travel colleagues, my clients and friends from all over Ireland has been overwhelming. I cannot thank them all enough for the ongoing words of kindness, gestures of generosity and above all their friendship during this horrific time in our lives.
I want to give back and raise as much as possible for the ITAA Benevolent fund to say thank you and to help out someone else in a similar situation as Kayleigh and Mayah are currently experiencing.
Please give what you can, no matter how big or small every cent counts.
