It's time to help Tim (Mr.D)!
Our dear friend, brother, uncle, neighbour, colleague and teacher, Tim aka Mr.D, has had some health setbacks after experiencing a stroke earlier this Fall.
Currently in a recovery facility, Tim is working hard and making daily progress in his physical therapy and his fur-baby Zoe is being well taken care of by a loving foster family.
We want to make sure Tim has as smooth and comfortable of a transition as possible when he is released to go home in the near future. As anyone can imagine, this type of situation creates new and unexpected expenses. These include but aren't limited to medical/mobility devices, alterations to his living space, the purchasing of items to replace less mobility friendly ones, and continued care for his Zoe while he is away.
Many have asked how they can help and given that hospital visits and gifts are currently not permitted, we felt this was the most appropriate and effective way to support Tim. The funds raised will help alleviate stress and allow Tim to simply focus on getting better.

Note 1
The funds are being raised by a group of family friends in both White Rock, BC and Edmonton, AB who are in contact with Tim directly and are currently taking care of matters for Tim as they arise. They will have access to these funds to use strictly as indicated above and Tim will have access to them as well.

Gofundme suggests giving a tip to the organizer on the donate page. Please note this is awkwardly worded and the tip is actually for the Gofundme platform itself as they don't charge people a fee to host fundraisers on their site. Again to clarify that I am not asking for tips!

Also note that when using Gofundme, there is a 2.9% processing fee on each donation plus. $.30 on all credit and debit transactions. This isn't an added charge to you but rather taken from the donation total.
