Ismail Memis Medical Expenses

Hi my name is Zeynep Memis, I need help to raise funds regarding my father's medical expenses. My father is Ismail Memis, he suffered stomach pains on September 8th 2023 and was rushed to the hospital. The next day they performed a small bowel removal surgery which resulted in sepsis and various other near fatal health issues. Since his admittance he received 2 surgeries and unfortunately the doctors and hospital have not provided the proper care he has needed. They often times told us we have to remove him from the hospital because he is going to die anyway as well as "pull the plug" when his condition worsens. My father is currently on a ventilator and dialysis machine. His second surgery caused issues that could have been avoided, as a result, a malpractice lawsuit is currently being initiated against them. Huntington Hospital wants to discharge him and does not want to provide care for him anymore. They want to send him (get rid of him) to a nursing home in New Jersey far from our home. The purpose of this fundraiser is to be able to provide my father a Medical airplane transport to Turkey so he can receive proper treatment in his homeland near his other relatives, where my mom can stay along side him, care and advocate properly for him. This fund will pay his airfare and the medical personnel on the flight, due to my father currently being bed ridden and on a ventilator we need support to cover his travel costs. If anyone is willing to donate for my father it will be greatly appreciated.

Merhaba benim adım Zeynep Memiş, babamın sağlık masrafları için yardıma ihtiyacım var. Babam İsmail Memiş, 8 Eylül 2023'te karın ağrısı geçirerek acilen hastaneye kaldırıldı. Ertesi gün, sepsis ve diğer neredeyse ölümcül sağlık sorunlarıyla sonuçlanan ince bağırsak ameliyatı yaptılar. Başvurusundan bu yana 2 ameliyat geçirdi ve ne yazık ki doktorlar ve hastane ona ihtiyaç duyduğu bakımı sağlayamadı. Sık sık bize onu hastaneden çıkarmamız gerektiğini çünkü zaten öleceğini ve durumu kötüleştiğinde "fişi çekmemiz" gerektiğini söylediler. Babam şu anda solunum cihazı ve diyaliz makinesinde. İkinci ameliyatı önlenebilecek sorunlara yol açtı ve bunun sonucunda haklarında şu anda yanlış tedavi davası açılıyor. Huntington Hastanesi onu taburcu etmek istiyor ve artık ona bakım sağlamak istemiyor. Onu New Jersey'deki evimizden uzakta bir huzurevine göndermek (kurtulmak) istiyorlar. Bu bağış toplama etkinliğinin amacı babama Türkiye'ye Tıbbi uçak ulaşımı sağlayabilmek, böylece memleketinde diğer akrabalarının yanında uygun tedaviyi alabilmesi, annemin onun yanında kalabilmesi, bakabilmesi ve onu gerektiği gibi savunabilmesi. Bu yardim onun uçak biletini ve uçuştaki sağlık personelinin masraflarını karşılayacak, babamın şu anda yatalak ve solunum cihazına bağlı olması nedeniyle seyahat masraflarını karşılamak için desteğe ihtiyacımız var. Babam için bağışta bulunmak isteyen varsa çok makbule geçer.
