Isla’s Prayer Warriors
Donation protected
Little Isla Grace Thurber was born on September 25th at Einstein Medical Center. She was admitted immediately to the NICU to receive life saving care for pulmonary hypertension. Isla was strong through it all and has been recovering well. However, despite her full recovery from the initial medical issues, Isla continues to struggle with feeding, as many newborns with Down Syndrome can experience. She will now be transferred to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for specialized consultation with physicians and feeding specialists. Her parents, Jaime and Chris, have been juggling hospital visits in between caring for their other two children, Ainsley and Elias. The medical bills, co-pays, gas mileage, parking, meals on the go, and other miscellaneous expenses are mounting as Isla’s hospitalization continues. We would like to bless the Thurber family with our prayers and encouragement, but also with a tangible gift to help offset the financial stress of this difficult situation. Please consider giving any amount to support them, along with your prayers.
