During the freezing weather of Friday and Saturday, our staff had gone home with the expectation to come back and check on the building. Unfortunately, we did not make it in time to prevent a pipe from rupturing and flooding our Community Center, main hallway, Administrative Offices, Men's and Women's prayer areas, and our bathrooms. Any help would be a blessing as we continue to recover from not only the weather, but also the pandemic.

More information about Islamic Society of Denton: The Islamic Society of Denton operates a Masjid for Prayer and education in Denton, Texas. We also collect funds to distribute to our local community by providing food and funds to needy families. Most of the money collected goes towards the operation and utilities of the Masjid. We receive all of the funding from individual donors who desire to keep our doors open for Islamic services such as Daily Salats, Jummah Prayer, EID celebrations, Weekend Islamic School for children, marriage and funeral services.
