Hi my name is Mary and I am raising funds for Laurie Becker.

On Thurs. Mar. 31st Laurie found the thing that no wife ever wants to face. She found her sweetheart, of 36 years of marriage, dead by suicide. After two years of unemployment and battling mental issues Karl reached the end of his strength and hope. After the shock Laurie thought, "Karl you left me with only 55 dollars"! Laurie told me; "Honestly when all of these beautiful people that are comforting me say 'Is there anything I can do?' This small voice in my head says, 'can you give me a dollar?' each time I strangle it down. I really am completely broke. I have no savings or life insurance only my social security check and a $55 a week check from my meal delivery job.

What frighten's me for the future is that when all of this calms down I am in a lot of trouble."
