Irv LaFleur's Medical Expenses

Please pray for Irv LaFleur and his family! They need our help! I felt the need to share his story..... Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers!
I worked with Irv for many years. He retired from the Forsyth County School System quite awhile ago, but I always remember his friendly smile. We worked together at Cumming Elementary and then at Whitlow Elementary. He not only fixed computer issues that I needed help with, he was also amazing with the students!
Irv has always been a private person. I know sharing this personal information is not easy, which is why I wanted to do this for Irv and his family.
About 4 years ago, Irv had a stroke. He recovered overall, but was still walking with a cane and had some left side weakness. Then, in November 2016, Irv fell and hit his head and injured his neck on the tile floor in his home. He hasn't walked since that day!
Today, I found out that his wife Alice requires help with him throughout the day. Home Health Nurses are not covered by their insurance. A nurse comes in morning and night. He has a hospital bed in his living room, since all of the bedrooms are upstairs. The cost of the Home Health Nurse is approximately $4,000 per month. In addition, they are having to sell their home in order to pay for his Home Health Nurse.
My heart just breaks for this family! I know about the financial burden of medical expenses and how stressful it can be. We don't realize just how important our health is, until something terrible happens.
I wanted to reach out to all of Irv's friends and family. They need our help! Please pray for Irv and his family!
