Irene Pollard - Elder abuse

Irene Pollard, 70 years old developed dementia after she moved into her friends house.  Her friend became guardian and Irene has been mistreated from day one. Her guardian is alienating Irene from her family. Our phone calls are monitored and we have to be on speaker phone, Irene has no privacy. We went to visit her for the weekend of Dec 7th, 2019. Her guardian insisted on us being chaperoned. We had no family time with our sister, Irene's guardian gave us (one day) 7 hours to visit her.   She lives in Brownington  Vermont and her 4 sisters live in CT.  We could not afford a lawyer to remove her from her home.  We had no choice but to hire a lawyer because Irene's health and well being is getting worse. Our main goal is family comes first.
