Trip to Ireland

Hey, guys! Thanks for taking the time to check out my page! 
Studying abroad is something I've ALWAYS wanted to do... but between life/work schedules and financial restraints, I never thought I'd be able to do it. But, I'm finally taking the plunge. Lucky for me, I've found the perfect program! 

Throughout the summer semester, I will be going across Ireland for 2 weeks. Here are some of the things I will be doing and studying:
- Working with students through the Education side of the program. 
- Studying mythology and folklore (appeasing my English and Social Studies degrees!)
- Heading to Northern Ireland (part of the United Kingdom), tracking the history of Ireland, ancient and modern, stopping at the magnificent coastal World Heritage Site, the Giant's Causeway, and visiting locations in Belfast and Derry.

This is a HUGE opportunity for me and my career as a future teacher. I look forward to gaining experience with diverse learners and adding to my resources in the classroom. When the study abroad office mentioned starting a gofundme page, I was shocked. But this way, I can update you guys with my travel plans directly and provide a chance for you to contribute to my study abroad education!

Here are some of my expenses that your donation will go towards:
-Living accommodations throughout the entire trip
-Course-related activities and entrances fees
-All course-related ground transportation
-Additional cultural program excursions
-Health and emergency evacuation insurance
-Meals
(This adds up to around $2800)
Additionally, the plane tickets will cost somewhere between $600-800! All in, I'm looking at a BASE price of $3400-$3600. My scholarships and grants will not cover MANY of these expenses. I'm really trying to leave university without a single dollar of student-loan debt, which I have some how managed to do this far!
