New stroke recovery procedure
Donation protected
I had a freak stroke back in 1998 (I was only 46) and since then I've been unable to work, living on disability and being greatly restricted in my mobility. Since then, I have not found anything that could successfully improve my condition... until perhaps now. I came across a cutting edge treatment plan that has shown some remarkeably successful results. 60 Minutes did a segment on this bold new procedure. I'd like to give it a chance to see if I too can be helped. But for me the cost is prohibitive. This new procedure is not covered by insurance and consists of a $700 consultation and and two (2) spinal injections of $6000 each, plus traveling to the facility that provides the treatment. The hope is that I can get a large part of my life back and do things like picking up my grandchildren and walking without the ever-present fear of falling- returning to my previous active lifestyle.
