Invitation to National Youth Leadership Forum

An opportunity has come my way and I’m honored to have been selected to add this knowledge and experience to my education and future college resume.
I received an invite to National Youth Leadership Forum National Security, Diplomacy, Intelligence and Defense.
I was selected based on my strong academic performance at Willis High School. I will be staying 9 days in Washington DC visiting pivotal institutions in our nations capital, such as foreign embassies, policy centers, and military facilities. I will get to go behind the scenes and learn about the latest intelligence strategies and put them into action in a true-to-life national security simulation. I will be introduced to the decision-makers, diplomats, and military leaders. Attend an exclusive career fair and also meet representatives from branches of service, military academies, and government agencies. This invite includes another part of the program where I would get to participate in investigating and exploring the CSI Experience. The program includes visits to cultural and historical sites in Washington DC including monuments, memorials, and museums. The dates I have chosen to attend this event are July 18-26th. The invite includes room and board. It does not include flights.
My interest in our nations history is strong and I feel this is an opportunity too good to pass up. My parents are definitely encouraging me and will help and support me at every level, as they do in everything I do. However, this is a costly trip and I am hoping you will see the value in this as much as I do. I will be working to earn money for this trip as well as my parents help, but if you feel compelled to help me pay for this opportunity I would be very grateful.
