The English Center of Youngstown, Ohio, is a non-profit registered 501c 3 educational center that offers FREE English lessons for adults from all countries, cultures, religions, and ethnic backgrounds. We teach students speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in a welcoming, nurturing and respectful environment. Rooted in the International Institute of Youngstown, Ohio, that was established in 1918, we help students succeed in acquiring citizenship, obtaining jobs, earning higher education degrees and becoming participating members of the community.
The English Center is now growing and is in the process of revitalizing. By September 1, 2019, we need financial assistance so that we may continue to offer FREE English classes to all !
Our operating costs include rent, security, teaching materials, and staff expenses: $10.00 a day per student/ $30.00 a week per student/$120.00 a month per student/ $1,080.00 a year per student. (We service 100 students a year at a cost of $108,000.00)
In order to allow The English Center to continue providing FREE services to all students, the following sponsorship opportunities are available:

$1,080.00, sponsor one student for one year
$120.00, sponsor one student for one month
$30.00, sponsor one student for one week
$10.00, sponsor one student for one day
