Once-in-a-lifetime oppotunities

Within my explorer group we have 7 young individuals who have been accepted on the international scout camps after a vigorous selection process. As part of their experience they must fund raise the amount required, which is approximately £1500 each. They have been very busy already, car washing, completing sponsored hikes, bag packing, being creative, assisting in summer fairs and organizing a themed ball but they still have a long way to go to reach their targets. Some have the amazing opportunity to go interrailing around Europe, some are going to Switzerland and one is going to Madagascar. It is an amazing opportunity for the young people and will further enhance their life skills and scouting experience as well as hugely enhance their CV's. Furthermore I am passionate that all teenagers should be given the opportunity to travel despite their financial situation and the Scouting community enhances the equality of opportunities available to our young people through such trips. They will have the adventure of a lifetime that will stay with them forever and with your help we can make this possible.
