Internally displaced Friend of mine in Sudan

Dear compassionate friends,

I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for help on behalf of my dearest friend, Hatim. His life has taken an unexpected turn, and I am compelled to initiate this fundraising campaign to extend a lifeline to him and his family.

Six months ago, Hatim, a dedicated dentist with a thriving dental centre in Alobayd, Sudan, faced displacement due to current war happening in Sudan. Undeterred by adversity, he courageously ventured into a new business – a food truck in Kusty, a city in southern Sudan. follow this link to see his story that have been reported in the news:

Tragically, Hatim now finds himself internally displaced for the second time within six months. The magnitude of this crisis has intensified as he shoulders the responsibility of not only his own family but also eight other adults and three little children, including his own child, his brother's family, and his mother.

In these dire circumstances, Hatim is striving to lead his family to safety, with hopes of finding refuge in South Sudan. The challenges before him are immense, and he is reaching out for support from compassionate hearts like yours.

As part of transparency process required I will answer the following questions:

2. Where you're from: From Sudan, now living in Sweden.

3. Your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for and who will be receiving the funds: Hatim is my best friend, and he will receive the fund from me.

4. How the funds will be delivered: As the bank system in Sudan not linked to international banking system, I will have to use local networks or also if possible Western Union network.

5. How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible): the primary plan is for this fund to be used to flee the country for the whole family towards South Sudan through the southern borders of Sudan.
