Hello friends, family, and fellow humans!
It's Aliya, coming to you all the way from Atlanta, GA, USA! I am a filmmaker whose main focus is representing and showcasing the underrepresented and breaking down barriers that can at times encapsulate certain groups or individuals.
In other words: My films focus is to show that we are ALL in this thing (life) together.
I am currently seeking donations for my short film that I wrote, produced, and will direct entitled, InQueeries. With this film, I have chosen to focus on family values, and how at times life choices can shift the family dynamic.
Plot Outline:
Social, religious, and racial issues erupt when a closeted lesbian returns home to come out to her family, with her partner by her side.
How will your donation help?

With films a lot of background work is done prior to filming (pre production): casting, renting/purchasing: lights, cameras, lenses, and locations, etc. During filming (production): paying actors/actresses/crew, food expenses, traveling, etc. and finally after filming is complete (post production): editing, sound mixing, obtaining royalty rights for the film's soundtrack, distributing the film to film festivals, and eventually major studios companies!
In other words: Your donation will aid so many different departments and eventually make this film a reality! All donations are welcomed big or small. This project will be made even if the full amount is not met, however if it is, this project can be polished up in a way that might help everyone who's a part of it in a long-term way!
