Help Us Launch Breakthrough ALS Research
Your support can help uncover a new pathway to healing
Hello, my name is LaRae Barnes, a Nurse Practitioner specializing in neurology, nutritional disease, and sleep medicine. After years of clinical work and personal exploration, I’ve developed a promising new hypothesis about the root causes of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)—a devastating condition with no cure.
Through my new nonprofit, the Cure ALS Now Foundation, we are preparing to launch an integrative research study focused on what may be a key overlooked factor in ALS progression: the collapse of the neuro-motor energy system and myofascial signaling.
Rather than only targeting neurons, this research explores how energy depletion and fascia disruption may trigger a whole-body shutoff cascade in ALS. Our goal is to test safe, non-invasive interventions that could slow progression, restore function, and radically shift how we treat this disease.
⸻
What Your Gift Supports:
• Advanced imaging, diagnostics, and energy mapping tools
• A 12-week pilot study with early-stage ALS patients
• A team of clinicians, energy therapists, and researchers
• Lab space, patient stipends, and data analysis
• Official nonprofit setup and research infrastructure
⸻
Why This Matters:
There is no cure for ALS—but there is hope through new understanding.
We believe this research can bring fresh insight and real help to patients now—not 10 years from now.
With your support, we can bring this vision to life.
⸻
How You Can Help:
• Donate what you can — every dollar supports patient-centered science.
• Share this campaign with your friends, family, or on social media.
• Help us build a movement for ALS research that’s innovative, compassionate, and action-driven.
⸻
Together, we can create real change.
With deep gratitude,
LaRae Barnes, APRN, MSN
