It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the unexpected passing of our beloved brother, Jean Charles Innocent, on Friday, September 1st, 2023. The news left the immediate family devastated and friends numb with grief. While the loss was tragic, the passing of my best friend Richardson Innocent a week later on September 8, 2023 was beyond comprehensible. The loss has deeply impacted his family including his elementary aged child, and it will continue to do so into the future. Rich lived a purposeful life, he valued education, and he was determined to make it more accessible. As we try to make sense of this unfortunate set of circumstances and the impact that it’s had on all of us friends of the family. I ask you to join me in giving support to the family.
