When death is sudden, no one is prepared. We are realizing that now. We never dreamed this would happen to someone who we thought still had a long life. The truth is that we never know when God will take any of us. In 1 Samuel 20:3, David said these words to Jonathan, “But truly, as the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, there is but a step between me and death.” Thats the predicament that we have found ourselves in with the loss of our brother. We would like to bury him gracefully but we need help because this happened so close to the holidays and during a pandemic so we are reaching out to friends, family and acquaintances for financial help.
