Injured Stray Boxer Vet Care Needed

I found this sweet pure bred Boxer boy outside my house on May 30. His face and neck were ripped open from an apparent dog fight/attack. When I went up to him he stood up and came to me and followed me home so I thought he must be lost trying to get home. But no tags, collar or microchip. He is sweet and docile and deserves to be saved.
Long story longer. I took him to my 24 hour vet clinic where they examined him and said he needed surgery to close his very deep neck wound. The cost of the surgery and aftercare would cost upwards of $1,300. I have paid for his initial surgery(money I don't have right now) because I couldn't bare the thought of taking him to Animal Control where he would most likely be euthanized.
I decided to make a go fund me account to see if I could raise money to help pay for his surgery and after care. The vet clinic donated $120 to the cause, this was the last of their donation fund money. Therefore, if I raise more than all the costs to heal this boy I will give all remaining money to The Hillside Veterinary Clinic's donation fund to help other less fortunate animals that find their way to Hillside.
