Injured retired police dog

7 year old retired police dog Grace served with the police for 4 years working closely with her partner  Greg! She had a distinguished career, amongst her many achievements was tracking down and catching two masked men who had just robbed a rural post office with a hammer. This made the ITV news. She has also been responsible for helping to find many high risk missing people. Grace had to retire due to an injury to her right cruciate ligament. Greg couldn’t allow her to go anywhere else so he kindly retired her to his home and she is a massive part of the family now, with Greg his wife Vicky and their two young daughters. Unfortunately since retiring she has damaged her other cruciate and as an ex police dog Greg can’t get insurance for Grace.  The operation cost is £2714, which is a huge amount of money for anyone to pay. This beautiful kind natured dog has given half of her life to serve and protect the public and it is hoped the public will be kind enough to give back and help her.
