Infinite Martial Arts - Covid Relief Fund

Dear Friends of Infinite Martial Arts -

During these continued challenging times I wanted to acknowledge and elevate one of our outstanding local businesses that has positively affected the lives of my family and many friends over the years, and which now needs our support in return.

Mr. Hidalgo established Infinite Martial Arts 10 years ago. He initially created a space that taught martial arts to children and adults, but eventually opened up a second location to provide personal training, Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and boxing, which is co-owned by Mr. Solomon and Mr. Valencia. Together, this team has developed an inclusive, welcoming, and thoughtful program that serves as an integral part of each of their students’ and clients’ lives. The staff is genuinely interested in supporting everyone who walks through their door. Kids and adults alike experience constant mentorship as they work to obtain their goals, build their confidence, and ultimately become part of the Infinite community.

If you or your child has taken a class, then you are surely familiar with how Infinite has imparted to you experiences of strength and love. Whether it was through your child earning a stripe on their belt or a star for their uniform, the dedicated coaching from Mr. Solomon and Mr. Hidalgo on the sidelines at a tournament, getting wrapped up by Mr. Valencia for one of his intense boxing classes, or learning about women’s self defense, this team has tirelessly worked to keep us strong and resilient.

They have also extended their service outside of classes. They organize and host a variety of events for the community, such as neighborhood block parties, weekend hikes through the Presidio, and Friday movie night.

Even during this global pandemic, Infinite has still found ways to continue supporting their clients’ mental and physical health. As shelter in place began in the spring, the Infinite team didn’t miss a beat—they converted to zoom sessions and modified summer camps, always maintaining a high caliber of excellence and support throughout. Unfortunately as life during COVID continues, such modifications alone are not sustainable.

This fund’s aim is to bolster the Infinite team we love so much, and offer interim support to the coaches and trainers that are such an important part of our lives and community. The money raised will be used to cover both studios’ operating costs for six months. This includes adhering to the new CDC guidelines for maintaining clean and safe environments.

Even if you haven’t personally experienced the tremendous love from Infinite, please consider supporting this small local business and share with others. When we come out the other side of COVID, sign up for one of their classes and join the ever-growing Infinite family.

Please note donations are set up to go directly to the Infinite Martial Arts account not this organizer.

Thank you,

Sara
