A journey from Ineducable to ExcludED
Tax deductible
OVERVIEW
INEDUCABLE is a stage play (that we will film and send a link to all donors) written by Playwright Mark MacNicol and a group of ENABLE Scotland/Jean’s Bothy members. The story started out as a Theatre workshop delivered by Mark and evolved into a fictional stage play. It is inspired by the parents of children with disabilities who in 1954 set up the charity that went on to become ENABLE Scotland.
WHY YOU SHOULD CARE
As the play is set in the 50s our group did a lot of research into ways children with disabilities were being excluded from mainstream education. It was during our research we discovered that these children are still being excluded in 2020 (60% of pupils with learning disabilities feel lonely at school / 46% don't get access to same games in playground / 23% are excluded from school trips*)

YOUR CONTRIBUTION
We’re asking for your help with the staging and also the filming of the play. So your contribution will go toward the venue, cast, crew, cameras, lighting, sound, edit and post production.
