Sikh FedEx Victims Memorial Fund

Sikhs For Indianapolis is raising funds on behalf of the FedEx shooting victims and families. All money raised will directly benefit families of those who were killed, persons injured and people present who suffered mental trauma during the April 16th shooting in Indianapolis.

For donations greater than $5,000, we recommend donating by check or wire transfer. Please contact us for more information.

**UPDATE: While this is a collective effort by the Sikh community, these funds will be administered and distributed by the National Compassion Fund. The NCF is a program of the National Center for Victims of Crime, a registered 501(c)(3) charity, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.**

As members of the Sikh community in Indianapolis, we were saddened and shocked by the FedEx shooting that took place on Friday, April 16, 2021. Eight lives, including four beloved members of the Sikh community, were killed leaving behind families and loved ones after this senseless and horrific massacre.

In Sikhi, we say "Chardi Kala."

By aiming to keep our thoughts in Chardi Kala, it means we think of ourselves less and instead focus on how we can help others as a positive force in their lives and in the community.

We stand in solidarity with the Sikh community in Indianapolis as they begin the long process of healing.

Chardi Kala.
