Indiana University Bloomington Fund

Hello, my name Dylan Laiben. As many of you know, I have been accepted into Indiana University in Bloomington with direct admission to their Media School. I will be pursuing a Game Design BS and will graduate with a portfolio including game design credits and a published game on Steam. Additionally, I have been accepted into the Media Schools Living Learning Center housing which is a community for media students to network with people in the business and will include trips into relevant businesses to further my professional development, Media School students also have many opportunities to learn in the field by studying abroad in Tokyo and spending a semester in Los Angeles. With going to the media school the networking opportunities provided by the media school in addition to the skills and knowledge I will gain at IU will launch my career as a video game designer and place me on the path to not only design my own games but start my own gaming company.

Out of state tuition is over $60,000 per year and while I have completed my FAFSA and been offered some Pell grants as well as qualifying for work study, I am still lacking $50,000 to fund my education. I am seeking additional scholarships and applying for jobs to fill the gap, but am hoping friends and family can help as well.
