Increasing Diversity in Psilocybin Facilitation

Subtle Winds is a collaborative community of therapists, healers, and medical professionals local to Oregon who have created one of Oregon's first approved Psilocybin Facilitator Trainings. We are dedicated to training psilocybin facilitators who represent diverse identities, cultures, lived experiences, and economic backgrounds​ so ​individuals seeking services have facilitators equipped to meet them across the spectrum of diversity.

In the midst of a national mental health crisis we have the opportunity to legally utilize psilocybin in Oregon as a tool for healing. We run the risk that this powerful modality becomes accessible only to traditionally resourced populations and will not be represented or accessed by those from historically marginalized and under-resourced populations.

We are determined to do everything in our power to prevent this by awarding significant scholarships in the form of discounted tuition to individuals from marginalized communities. Up to this point we have already awarded $100,000+ in full, or 50% - 25% discounted tuition for students who represent BiPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. This has impacted our incoming funds which is a decision we made to walk our talk. Now we need your help to continue awarding this level of discounted tuition as we move into our Third Cohort.

Your contribution will go directly to funding the tuition of students who apply for our diversity/equity scholarships.
