Inaba Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund

Donation protected
Late Monday evening, on August 28, Jonathan and Robyn with their young family evacuated their home in Houston due to rising water from hurricane Harvey. Each carrying a child and a bag, that primarily consisted of necessities for a 1 week old newborn and their 2 year old daughter, they trekked several blocks of flood water to safety. On Wednesday, August 30, over 24 hours since Houston had seen rain, their home flooded from the increase in the controlled release of water from the Addicks and Barker Reservoirs. Their home was destroyed and they lost a lot of what they own. Please join me in helping them in this time of need. If you're able and willing, they could use your help.

This photo is taken of their street outside their home. Floodplains range from the standard floodway, 100 year floodplain, 500 year floodplain and 100 year coastal floodplain. The Inaba's house in Houston was not located in any type of floodplain and therefore, like many Houstonians, did not have flood insurance. The GoFundMe goal is likely to be only a very small fraction of their home repair costs, but every little bit helps!

Thank you for your love, prayers and support.
