In The Shadow of the Red brick building

I am an Indigenous person and a new writer. I have received
encouragement and support during my journey to share my
Residential School experiences. I would like to have my book
published, so that other people can learn about the Residential
School experience.  I would like to give insights to how Residential schools affected my life, you will learn as I share my story honestly and directly.

A quote from my book:

”I would like to kindly invite you to take a walk with me or perhaps have a seat next to me. I will share my journey with you; however
gently open your mind and your heart and be patient. I can talk
withyou but it is easier if you just sit and listen to me for awhile as my path was crammed with hardships and challenges, because I
have attended two Residential schools and survived. I am a
survivor.

However, I am grateful as a survivor to be here, I feel so fortunate. No one may notice, but many survivors have passed onto the spiritworld sadly and cannot share their experiences of Residential
School.”

i believe it is important for others to learn these experiences as it 
is our living history.
