On September 24th, my wife, my best friend, and the mother of four wonderful children has passed away. Born in Butuan City, Phillipines in 1970, her mother Natalia gave birth when she was a teenager. Her mother had dementia and sadly passed away in 2016. Nonita was deeply hurt by her loss. Despite this burden, Nonita was a kind, gentle soul who loved to entertain and bring joy to everyone's lives. We worked together in the same company and same shift. We would often joke about everyday things, regardless of the situation at hand. Everything I am is because of her. I miss her advice, and love through the 20 years we were together. My children also deeply miss her love and undeniable support. Nonita will be remembered as a kind soul who sadly passed away at such a young age.
She worked full-time as a production lead hand and I'm currently a production auditor at Dynamic Suspensions. Nonita was the primary wage earner of the family. Without her support, our family struggles with covering the costs of home, car, and general bills. This fundraiser is to support my family through the hardship unfortunately we are currently enduring.
I called multiple funeral services and tried to explain my financial situation. Initially after the police informed me that everything was completed, I quickly tried to arrange a funeral service for Nonita. But soon I found out by the funeral director that the body could not be retrieved because the investigation is still ongoing. As time goes, unfortunately I had to do a $3,000 loan just to keep us surviving. The car, the house will be taken from us because we do not have the sufficient funds. My son was attending college at Humber North, but could no longer attend because of the costs associated with the program.
The $35,000 will help our family pay the funeral costs, bills, moving expenses and food. As time goes on, November 1st is our deadline, after that, we'll have to find a new home.
