In memory of the good boy Charlie
Donation protected
As many of you know, my perfect boy Charlie suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on Friday November 6th.
I am utterly devastated at his loss and am trying to find whatever hope I can to keep me going. A few people have offered me help with some of the costs surrounding his death. His cremation and the return of his ashes costs just under £200, but I am absolutely capable of covering this on my own at the moment.
However, I wanted to recognise and offer an outlet for people's sadness and desire to remember him, and so I've set up this fundraiser, in the hope of raising that amount (or more), but instead of coming to me to cover those costs, I am going to split the proceeds 50/50 between the dog shelter from which he originally came (Freshfields Animal Rescue Caernarfon), and the famous animal shelter in what came to be his final resting place (Battersea Dogs & Cats Home).
Anything that you feel able to offer to these two shelters will help other people like me be lucky enough to find their perfect friend — but more importantly, will help countless other dogs (and cats, but let's not mention them, Charlie wouldn't want to know) find their forever family.
Thank you for all your kindness to us over the days since his loss. Every single message and picture sets me off into floods of tears all over again, but it is so so important to know how much he was loved, and by so many. Thank you for all the love you showed him over his life.
