In memory of sweet Gemma

Hi everyone, I am here writing on behalf of my group of friends, a group who have remained close since grade and/or high school. Just yesterday, one of our closest friends lost his little angel Gemma tragically and unexpectedly, at just 7 years old. We are all so incredibly heartbroken and I am struggling just to write this. To say Gemma was sweet and beautiful would be a vast understatement as she is what I mentioned before, an angel. She was the most loving and caring little girl you could ever imagine. Poor little Gemma lost her life due to medical complications and is survived by her father Derik, mother Kimberly and the best big brother ever - Logan. If you know this family, you will know Gemma's beautiful soul was shaped by their values, morals, generosity, love for anyone and everyone and just pure kindness. If you were lucky enough to be on the receiving end of a hug from Gemma, you could feel the tremendous amount of love through that brief squeeze. We are doing everything we can to help our friends in need by remembering Gemma and supporting them the best we can. We decided to start this campaign in hopes of them not having to worry about money during this incredible struggle.
