This page is set up in memory of Steven Squire, to help support his family at such a tragic time.
Steven, Army Veteran who served with the Royal Engineers was a larger than life guy with a big heart, an outstanding friend, colleague, son, grandson, cousin, uncle, nephew and above all, a devoted father and husband. This was very much recognised in the days before the tragic news with the efforts from alot of people to find him. He was hard working, caring, and always had a smile that was so gentle; he touched the lives of many and to lose him in such a way is an absolute shock and tragedy that will be with us all forever.
While no one can help ease their loss, we would like to do what we can to help support them through an unspeakably painful time. Nothing can fill the gap left in everyone’s lives, but it will, we hope, allow as many people as possible to show their love and support for the family as they try to come to terms with this utterly tragic loss.
Through this page we not only want to support Laura and the family but bring light to the suicide epidemic. We would like to draw light to the issue of suicide and hope that this page reaches someone who may be feeling like there is no hope and we would like to let you know that there is. Suicide is a permanent solution to an often temporary problem and your life has so much value and purpose so we encourage you to speak to someone who can help you navigate your journey.
The funds will be deposited directly to the family to help ease any financial worries to allow them to focus on healing themselves after the loss of their husband and father.
