In memory of Reece

A few days ago, we were shocked and devastated to hear the news that Reece West had sadly taken his own life. Reece was such an incredible person, he never failed to put a smile on our faces and always put the happiness of others ahead of his own, often at the expense of his own well-being. He was one the nicest, kindest, warmest people to ever grace the earth and he will be sorely missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Reece was plagued with mental health issues and was something that ultimately got the better of him. The pain that everyone has been experiencing from his passing has been overwhelming and something that no one should ever have to endure. Hopefully from donations raised by this campaign, we can help prevent someone else’s family and friends from suffering as much as we all have.

From a personal perspective, I’ve suffered greatly from mental illness in the past and Reece was one of the people who helped me get though it. I was fortunate enough to be able to fight my battle without seeking professional guidance, but for many others that isn’t the case. By donating towards Mind, I hope that others who aren’t as lucky as me can receive the help they so desperately need. As Reece was such a loving and caring person, I believe that donating to a good cause and helping other people would be a great way to carry on his legacy, and try turn this horrible situation into something positive.
