In memory of Peggy Gibson

Hello, my name is Lori Ford, the niece / like daughter to Peggy Gibson, who left us surrounded by her family on July 6th, 2022.

Sunny Lombardi (Peggy's adopted daughter) and I are organizing an event to sponsor a horse race and have a memorial bench permanently placed at the Ferndale Fair Grounds, at the racetrack in her honor for her husband, Eddie Gibson and all her loved ones.

Sunny and I are hoping that we can get help with donations so that we can have a bench custom made, and placed before August 15th, and sponsor a horse race on the day we celebrate her life at the race track, on either August 20th or August 27 as we present the bench to Eddie Gibson in her honor.

Anyone that knows Peggy, knows she had an amazing love for horses, and loved owning and racing Arabian's. Having this bench placed there would make her smile ear to ear from up in heaven, and seeing us all celebrate her life having a margarita, at her favorite place to race her race horses!

Peggy and Eddie were the owners of Rosewood Racing Arabians, and raced their horses in ferndale for about 12-15 years starting in 1987, as well as would help board other owners horses at their ranch in Ferndale. They also sponsored many races, on behalf of their construction company Baywood Builders, and Horseracing establishment Rosewood Racing Arabians.
