In Memory of Leah Berhanu
Donation protected
Leah Berhanu was a 21 year old senior studying Civil Engineering at West Virginia University. Set to graduate in December 2018, Leah was an involved leader on campus; she was a Brother in Phi Sigma Pi national honor fraternity where she served as Historian and Service Chair; she worked for Adventure WV as an Orientation Leader and a high ropes course facilitator. Leah was known for her vibrant and passionate personality, her ability to light up any room she entered, and the meaningful relationships she forged with everyone she knew. On the night of February 1, 2018, Leah was walking to her car from WVU's Evansdale campus when she was struck by a car while crossing Patteson Drive. Leah's death is a reminder that not every day is guaranteed to us and to cherish those closest to us. The Brothers of the Alpha Mu chapter of Phi Sigma Pi ask for your assistance in raising money to cover the costs of Leah's funeral expenses. We greatly appreciate any support you are able to offer and ask that you keep her family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
